Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) / Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) – Night Shift

Pay Rate: $63 - $69 per hour (W2)

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to join a leading healthcare facility in Lake Geneva, WI. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Hematology, Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Urinalysis and be comfortable performing high-complexity laboratory testing.
Responsibilities:
• Collect and process patient specimens accurately and efficiently
• Perform laboratory testing in Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, and Blood Bank departments
• Analyze and verify test results for accuracy prior to release
• Perform quality control and proficiency testing procedures
• Troubleshoot quality control issues and laboratory instrumentation
• Conduct preventive maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
• Ensure turnaround times and critical result reporting requirements are met
• Document laboratory activities and maintain compliance with established policies and procedures
• Assist in training new staff and students as needed
Requirements:
• Current MLT/MLS Generalist Certification or Specialty Certification (BB, C, H, or M)
• Hematology and Blood Bank experience required
• Qualified to perform high-complexity testing per CLIA standards
• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and quality control processes
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Education verification required
