Point of Care Laboratory Technician (MLT/LVN/CLS) – Evenings
Location: San Leandro, CA (Mobile Laboratory)
Payrange:  $26.00–$32.00/hour
Full-Time | Permanent
Monday–Friday | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Join a leading national mobile laboratory team providing bedside diagnostic services to post-acute care facilities. We are seeking a Point of Care Laboratory Technician to perform waived laboratory testing in a mobile laboratory environment while delivering accurate, timely results and exceptional patient care.

• Perform waived laboratory testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Molecular, and Coagulation.
• Collect blood specimens via venipuncture and capillary collection.
• Receive and process specimens from couriers and phlebotomists.
• Enter patient demographics, test orders, and results into the laboratory information system.
• Perform quality control, instrument maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Verify abnormal results and escalate rare or improbable findings.
• Monitor STAT turnaround times and ensure testing accuracy.
• Maintain inventory and required laboratory documentation.
• Follow all laboratory safety and infection control protocols.
• Drive a mobile laboratory van when required.

Important: Employees must report to 10948 Bigge Street, San Leandro, CA 94577 at the beginning and end of each shift to pick up and return the mobile laboratory vehicle.

• 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Weekend and on-call requirements discussed during the interview.

Please Note:Phlebotomist-only candidates are not eligible. Applicants must hold an active California MLT, LVN, or CLS license.

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Frequent lifting of up to 15 lbs.
• Ability to push/pull mobile laboratory equipment as needed.
• Work safely around biological materials and laboratory hazards.
