Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Technologist (Blood Bank) Profession: Medical Technologist Specialty: Medical Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 1 or more years of experience License: Medical Technologist Certification Certifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science. Medical Technologist Certification (ASCP, NCA, AMT, or HEW). Must-Have: Working knowledge and experience in Clinical Laboratory improvement activities, laboratory information systems, and strong communication skills. Description: The Clinical Laboratory Technologist II carries out all policies and performs all tests in accordance with the laboratory's standard operating procedures. This position works independently in an efficient and organized manner to assure accurate results and records. The work requires a professional level of knowledge to read and interpret accurate test results used by providers in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Weekend and holiday rotations are required.
