Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) - $2,097 per week in Bethesda, MD

Has a working knowledge of equipment, processing of specimens, test results and time constraints of tests in the assigned area. This role is intended for Clinical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist.

Job Title: Medical Technologist Profession: Medical Technologist Specialty: SH Routine Corelab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) Experience: Minimum of 2 years as Clinical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Technologist License: Certification as a Medical Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist Certifications: ASCP, AAB or AMT Must-Have: - A baccalaureate degree - Formal background in biology, chemistry, hematology, immunohematology and microbiology - EPIC BEAKER training is preferred - No Medical Technicians Description: Performs a variety of both routine and complex clinical laboratory tests in accordance with established standards and procedures with minimal supervision. Has a working knowledge of equipment, processing of specimens, test results and time constraints of tests in the assigned area. This role is intended for Clinical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 3:30 PM; every other weekend; holidays as needed.
