Job Title: Medical Lab Scientist Profession: Laboratory Specialty: Medical Lab Scientist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred License: ASCP Certification required Certifications: ASCP-MLS, ASCP-MLT, BLS Must-Have: Experience in laboratory work required. Description: Start date: 07/13/2026. Contract length: 13 weeks. Shift/hours: 5x8 hours (15:00-23:30). Independent work is required. Candidates with experience and hands-on exposure to all laboratory equipment and instrumentation are preferred. Holidays are required as they fall, as scheduled. Every other weekend is required. Candidates must be comfortable floating within scope with no restrictions. No on-call duty is required. Candidates must be able to work with a diverse patient age range, including infants to geriatrics. Special procedures and unit details include independent work. The role involves manual and automated laboratory tasks. Candidates should have experience with various laboratory assessments and testing methods. Quality assurance and controls knowledge is essential. The position requires proper specimen collection, labeling, and disposal skills.
