Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Medical Technologist / Clinical Lab Scientist (Generalist) for a 13-week travel assignment in Overland Park, KS. In this role, you will perform routine and complex laboratory testing to provide accurate diagnostic data for patient care. This position requires a strong night-shift generalist who is completely confident operating independently, particularly in Blood Bank.

Shift & Schedule

• Hours: 36 hours per week (3 x 12-hour shifts)
• Shift: Nights | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (1845–0715)
• Weekends: Yes (Rotation required)
• On-Call: None
• Overtime: Available, but must be pre-approved

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate laboratory testing across multiple specialties (Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation, etc.).
• Blood Bank: Confidently perform blood typing, antibody screening, and cross-matching with minimal supervision.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot complex laboratory instrumentation.
• Uphold strict quality control standards and accurately log results into the LIS.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and fully compliant workplace environment.
