Key Responsibilities of the Medical Laboratory Technician
  • Perform standard laboratory tests and procedures in chemistry and blood bank settings
  • Ensure accurate test results using Cerner Millennium and Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics chemistry analyzer
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to communicate test results

Requirements of the Medical Laboratory Technician
  • Registered Laboratory Technician with ASCP or AMT
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a clinical lab setting
  • Experience with Cerner Millennium software
  • Proficient in Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics and blood bank operations
  • AHA BLS certification required
  • Pediatric experience required
