Job Title: Medical Lab Technician Profession: Laboratory Specialty: Blood Bank Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in blood bank. License: Louisiana Licensure through LSBME as Clinical Laboratory Personnel Technician or Technologist required. Certifications: AHA certifications are required. Must-Have: Blood bank experience. Description: We are seeking Medical Lab Technicians with a background in blood bank. Candidates must possess Louisiana licensure as Clinical Laboratory Personnel Technician or Technologist. If you have the required licensure and experience, we would like to interview you. Candidates without the required licensure may still be considered if they have blood bank experience. The position involves working a 7 on/7 off schedule from 19:00 to 07:00. Candidates must be able to comply with COVID-19 and flu vaccine requirements, with exemptions considered for medical or religious reasons. References from two supervisors are required to obtain clearance to start. NURSYS reports must be up to date. Candidates who have worked as permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must have a one-year separation before returning.
