Job Title: Laboratory Supervisor Profession: Medical Technologist Specialty: Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday-Friday Hours per Shift: 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM Experience: Minimum of 3 years recent lab supervisor experience License: High School diploma; MT or CLS training program Certifications: ASCP certification; BLS certification Must-Have: - Must be attached to the candidate submission - Candidates will be responsible for covering multiple campuses Description: Under the direction of the Laboratory Manager and Laboratory Medical Director, the Laboratory Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of laboratory personnel engaged in performing chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. The role ensures adherence to quality control protocols. The supervisor assists in maintaining laboratory equipment. The supervisor supports the Manager in overseeing staffing, training, and compliance with state and federal regulations. Candidates should possess a minimum of a high school diploma and must have graduated from an MT or CLS training program approved or accredited by an appropriate organization. Candidates must have ASCP certification, which must be attached to the submission. Candidates must have 3 years of recent lab supervisor experience.
