Job Title: Medical Technologist Profession: Medical Technologist Specialty: Laboratory Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8 and 12-hour shifts Hours per Shift: Monday-Tuesday 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM, Saturday-Sunday 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM Experience: Minimum 1 year License: State of Florida Licensed Medical Technologist Certifications: ASCP, BLS Certification, Certified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) via ASCP Must-Have: Microbiology, Serology, Molecular Pathology, Hematology, Immunohematology, Clinical Chemistry Description: This position requires the ability to work 12-hour shifts on weekends and 8-hour shifts during the week. Guaranteed hours are 40 hours per week. Travel experience is not required. Candidates with open years of experience are encouraged to apply, including new graduates. Knowledge of various laboratory equipment is necessary, including Sysmex XN 2000, Sysmex CA660, BioMerieux Vidas 3, Siemens EXLS, Nova Prime Plus, Cepheid GenXpert, Ortho Vision, and BioMerieux Vitek Compact 60. The information system used is Evident (Thrive) with auto-verification. The charting system utilized is TruBridge - Evident. Cancellation policy allows for the client to cancel 2 shifts per 13-week contract. This role is situated in an acute care setting within the allied division.
