Job Title: Medical Lab Technologist / Medical Lab Scientist Profession: Medical Laboratory Specialty: Medical Laboratory Technology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evening Hours per Shift: 8.5 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience within specialty License: Required Certifications: ASCP, AMT, AAB Must-Have: - Cerner experience - Experience using Sysmex and CellaVision systems - Experience working in a large hospital laboratory (600+ beds) Description: We are seeking a Medical Lab Technologist or Medical Lab Scientist with the necessary experience to join our team. The candidate must have a minimum of two years of experience in the specialty and possess the required certifications. Cerner experience is essential for this role. Experience with Sysmex and CellaVision systems is highly preferred. Familiarity with working in a busy hospital laboratory setting (600+ beds) is also essential. Candidates should be competent in performing differentials accurately, as it is a critical aspect of our daily operations. The lab processes a variety of complex samples, including turbid specimens, platelet clumps, and abnormal cell findings. We are looking for someone who can manage these challenges effectively with minimal training. Candidates should be prepared for a fast-paced environment and be able to transition quickly into the role.
