Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technologist Profession: Medical Laboratory Specialty: Medical Laboratory Science Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Varies Hours per Shift: 7 AM - 3:30 PM Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent experience within specialty. License: Not specified Certifications: ASCP, AMT, AAB Must-Have: - Cerner Experience - Experience using Sysmex and CellaVision systems - Experience in large hospital laboratory (600+ beds) - Competence in performing blood differentials - Familiarity with handling complex samples including turbid specimens, platelet clumps, and abnormal cell findings Description: The facility is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist with a strong background in laboratory operations. The chosen candidate will be working in a busy laboratory environment. Experience with Sysmex and CellaVision systems is preferred. Candidates should have a minimum of two years of recent experience in the specialty. The position requires the ability to perform accurate blood differentials. Candidates must be capable of managing complex samples on a daily basis. Familiarity with challenges such as turbid specimens, platelet clumping, and abnormal cell findings is essential.
