Job Title: Medical Technologist Profession: Medical Technologist Specialty: - Duration: 14 months Shift: 2nd Rotating Hours per Shift: 5x8 hours Experience: Two years of clinical laboratory experience preferred License: Certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent is required before hire Certifications: N/A Must-Have: Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related science Description: The Medical Technologist performs laboratory procedures using established and approved protocols. This role requires the broad exercise of independent judgment and responsibility with minimal technical supervision. Responsibilities include quality control, instrument maintenance, and specimen procurement and processing. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Rotating second shift hours include 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM, and 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.
