Job Title: Medical Lab Technician Profession: Laboratory Specialty: Blood Bank Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in blood bank License: Louisiana Licensure as Clinical Laboratory Personnel Technician or Technologist is required Certifications: Relevant certifications in medical laboratory technology Must-Have: Background in blood bank is essential Medical/religious exemptions required for COVID-19 and flu vaccinations Description: Shifts are scheduled from 19:00 to 07:00. The position requires Medical Technologists/Medical Lab Technicians with experience in blood bank. Candidates must possess Louisiana Licensure through the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners. If you have the required licensure and experience, we would like to interview you. Candidates with Louisiana licensure combined with blood bank experience may also be considered. References are not required for initial submission, but will be needed for clearance to start the contract. Two manager or supervisor references will be necessary for verification. Allied candidates booked with a pending license must apply for Allied Health licensure within 72 hours of signing.
