Job Title: Medical Technologist Profession: Medical Technologist Specialty: Laboratory Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 10.5 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of hospital laboratory experience License: MLT or MT graduated from an accredited school Certifications: ASCP or AMT certification preferred Description: Seeking a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician. Candidates must have 3 years of work experience in Blood Bank, Chemistry, or Hematology. The position involves performing pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical laboratory testing. Ideal candidates will possess a strong background in hospital laboratory settings. Proficiency in EMR systems, particularly Meditech, is preferred. The work environment is fast-paced, requiring an outgoing, courteous, and professional demeanor. Candidates will be expected to rotate weekends and provide holiday coverage. Weekends and on-call duties are required.
