Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex laboratory testing according to established procedures.
- Analyze specimens in hematology, coagulation, chemistry, and other laboratory departments.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of test results.
- Adhere to laboratory quality control and safety standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to support patient care.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
- Current ASCP or AMT certification required.
- Recent experience in a mid-sized or large hospital laboratory.
- Experience as a laboratory generalist preferred.
- Strong background in hematology/coagulation and/or chemistry is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
