Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility in New Albany, IN 47150. This is a 3+ month contract assignment (convertible to permanent based on your work performance). and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Specific Duties:- Rooming patients, assisting providers, and other duties include medication refills, return calls/providing results to patients, administering injections, etc.
Qualifications: - Minimum of 1 year of preferred experience
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- Current, nationally recognised Medical Assistant certification
- Current BLS certification (through an approved American Heart Association Training Centre or the
- Military Training Network) at the time of hire or within 30 days of hire
Requirements:
- Basic computer literacy required, with intermediate Excel skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology required
- The ability to react calmly and effectively in emergencies is required
- Good communication and customer service skills required
- Preferred Education. Experience & Skills
- At least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant

- Schedule: - Monday-Friday 7 am - 7 pm, Sat/Sun 8-2
- Office Hours: Monday -Friday 7 am - 7 pm
- Pay Range: $20-$23/hr. on W2 without benefits
