Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility in New Albany, IN 47150. This is a 3+ month contract assignment (convertible to permanent based on your work performance). and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Specific Duties:
  • Rooming patients, assisting providers, and other duties include medication refills, return calls/providing results to patients, administering injections, etc.
 
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of preferred experience
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent
  • Current, nationally recognised Medical Assistant certification
  • Current BLS certification (through an approved American Heart Association Training Centre or the
  • Military Training Network) at the time of hire or within 30 days of hire
 
Requirements:
  • Basic computer literacy required, with intermediate Excel skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology required
  • The ability to react calmly and effectively in emergencies is required
  • Good communication and customer service skills required
  • Preferred Education. Experience & Skills
  • At least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant

  • Location: New Albany, IN 47150
  • Job Type: 3+ months contract to Hire
  • Schedule: - Monday-Friday 7 am - 7 pm, Sat/Sun 8-2
  • Office Hours: Monday -Friday 7 am - 7 pm
  • Pay Range: $20-$23/hr. on W2 without benefits
