Position: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Duration: 3 Months
Location: Honolulu, HI
Pay Rate: $36/Hourly on W2.
Shifts: 8 hour rotating day/eve shifts, weekends inclusiveNights 6 pm-6 am
Responsibilities:
Assist physicians and nurses with patient care and clinical procedures.
Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and patient information.
Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
Perform basic laboratory tests and specimen collection.
Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records.
Ensure exam rooms and medical equipment are clean and properly stocked.
Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications:
Active CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) certification required.
Minimum 1+ year of clinical or healthcare experience preferred.
BLS certification preferred/required.
Strong communication and patient care skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems is a plus.
