Travel Medical Assistant (MA) - $880 per week in Monroe, NJ

Penn Medicine is seeking an experienced and motivated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)/Medical Assistant for a temp-to-perm opportunity in Monroe, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking long-term career growth and the chance to transition into a full-time Penn Medicine employee after completion of the required 520 hours.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical experience in an outpatient/clinic setting and must have prior Epic EMR experience. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced physician practice environment while delivering excellent patient care and administrative support.

• Perform EKGs and obtain/document vital signs
• Room patients and prepare them for provider examinations
• Update and maintain accurate patient records in Epic EMR
• Administer injections and immunizations per protocol
• Answer and manage provider messages and patient communications
• Assist physicians and clinical staff with daily patient care activities
• Maintain patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
• Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines
• Provide compassionate and professional patient care in an outpatient setting

• Previous experience as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Medical Assistant
• MUST HAVE Epic EMR experience
• Experience with EKGs, injections, immunizations, chart updates, and vital signs
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Must be local and able to commute within 30–45 minutes of Monroe, NJ

• Mandatory 4-hour EMR training on Wednesday
• Training Schedule: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (includes 1-hour break)
