Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant client in the medical facility. This is a temporary assignment opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Details:
Location: Seattle, WA
Job Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks (possibility of extension)
Pay Range: $22/hr- $29/hr*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.
Clinical Duties:
Taking and recording vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration)
Assisting with patient examinations and minor procedures
Administering injections and medications as directed
Performing EKGs, phlebotomy, and basic lab tests
Preparing and sterilizing medical instruments
Rooming patients and collecting medical histories
Assisting with wound care, suture removal, and dressing changes
Administrative Duties:
Scheduling appointments
Updating and maintaining electronic health records (EHR) (e.g., EPIC)
Communicating with patients regarding procedures, medications, and follow-ups
Coordinating referrals and lab services
Must have qualifications/experience:
High school diploma or GED
Completion of an accredited medical assistant program
Washington State Medical Assistant Certification (MA-C) is required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
At least 6 months of clinical experience preferred
Familiarity with EPIC or similar EHR systems

Shift start & end times:
Between the hours of 6:00 am - 6:00 pm
Workdays per week:
4 or 5, up to 40 hours
