Job Title - Medical Assistant

Job Type: Contract

Location- Beckley, WV

Shift:  Monday–Friday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm 

Hours- 40 hrs/ week 

Pay - $21 to $23/ hr on W2 

Work Setting: On-site (clinic-based)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join a home health team in Beckley, WV This role involves delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a home setting, performing evaluations, developing care plans, and supporting patient recovery and mobility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Room patients and prepare them for examinations
• Accurately obtain and record vital signs, weights, and medical histories
• Update patient records including medications and health information
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient charts
• Provide excellent patient care and support throughout visits
• Communicate effectively with providers, staff, and patients

Required Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification
• Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting
• Strong understanding of patient care procedures and medical terminology

Certification:

• MA certification and BLS Certification
