The job summary includes performing non-invasive, routine, technical support services under the authorization and supervision of licensed medical professionals. Essential functions involve setting up exam rooms and checking in patients. Maintaining a patient recall system, including continuity of care logs for lab tests, referrals, and transfers is required. The role also includes obtaining vital signs and reporting significant findings to the clinic physician. Performing audiometry and vision testing, as well as venipunctures as ordered, is part of the position. The lead medical assistant will model, mentor, and train staff on technical skills and perform other job-related duties as assigned.
