Pay: $1,118.80 weekly

Shifts: M-F 0830-1700

Seven Healthcare are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant II for a travel assignment in Cary, NC. This role requires an experienced professional with recent OBGYN experience to support a dynamic healthcare team. You will work in a clinical setting, performing vital tasks to ensure the quality of patient care and clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities of the Certified Medical Assistant II
  • Perform rooming and intake process, collecting patient data and vital signs
  • Review and record patient medical and social history
  • Assist provider during treatments, exams, and procedures
  • Administer medications and perform phlebotomy
  • Perform tests such as EKGs and eye exams
  • Prepare and sanitize exam and treatment rooms
  • Assist with patient registration, scheduling, and clinic supply management
  • Precept new hires and train medical assistants
  • Assist in emergency situations as directed

Requirements of the Certified Medical Assistant II
  • Medical Assistant certification from AAMA, AMT, CCMA, NRCMA, or NCMA
  • Basic Life Support Certification from AHA or ARC
  • Minimum one year of full-time experience as a Medical Assistant, Certified
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
  • Competency in using electronic medical records
