Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Ohio or a compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in the specialty
• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience; travel RN experience accepted
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Ability to successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Willingness to work rotating day and night shifts as needed
• Ability to float to similar patient care units when needed
• One qualifying reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
• Complete patient assessments, documentation, and care coordination
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes
• Maintain flexibility to support unit needs and float to comparable areas when required
• Participate in orientation and required training modules prior to start
