Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a MS/Tele position at a cancer hospital, requiring a minimum of 2 years of RN experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Mixed acuity unit serving both PCU and MS patients
• Oncology patient population; oncology experience is preferred but not required
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Rotating day/night contracts may be scheduled for days, nights, or a combination depending on departmental needs; shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Required to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Epic EMR experience required
• Required skills include IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and tracheostomy management

Requirements

• Active Ohio (OH) or Compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Experience with IV starts, telemetry, and tracheostomy management required
• Two professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or Supervisor; a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference; coworker references are not accepted
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted
• Former employees of the facility are eligible for a travel assignment after a minimum 6-month separation
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront and is limited to 7 days or fewer for the contract
• Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be completed promptly after signing a contract; candidates outside Ohio will need to travel to an in-state fingerprinting location or complete a mailed fingerprinting packet upon receipt
