Unit Highlights
- 30-bed Medical-Surgical unit
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6–1:7 (candidates must be comfortable with up to 7 patients)
- Charge RN available (also carries an assignment)
- Remote telemetry monitoring by monitor technicians
- Heparin drip titration based on aPTT
- Intermittent BiPAP (no ventilator patients)

- CHF
- COPD
- Cellulitis
- Pneumonia
- Urosepsis
- AKI
- Cholecystitis
- Appendicitis
- Rule-out admissions
Requirements
- Active RN license
- BLS (AHA)
- NIHSS
- Comfortable with Med Surg patient ratios up to 1:7
Scheduling
- Rotating day/night shifts
- Rotating weekends
- Holidays as needed
- No on-call requirement
- Travelers float first based on census
Additional Information
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue

- 50-mile radius rule applies
- Copy of an unexpired driver's license is required with submission
- Any licensing hits must be disclosed at the time of submission
- Facility cancellation policy: Up to 2 shifts per 13-week contract
