- 31-bed Acute Care Medical Surgical/Telemetry Unit
- Patient Ratio: 1:6
- Patient Population:
- Electronic Medical Record: Cerner
Common Patient Diagnoses
- Small bowel obstructions
- Diabetic complications
- Wound care
- Acute kidney injury (AKI)
- Pneumonia
- Sepsis
- General medical and telemetry patients
Requirements
- Active RN license
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate degree or higher)
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical experience
- BLS required
- ACLS required
- Experience with:
- NG tube placement and management
- Foley catheter insertion and management
- Chest tube maintenance
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred
- Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude
