Job Description:

Registered Nurse in the Med Surg department responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care and overseeing medical, surgical, and orthopedic cases. The role includes ensuring strict adherence to safety and care protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in 42-bed unit with ratios of 1:5-6
• Coordinate with RT and centralized Tele station
• Collaborate with charge nurse and manage nurse aide/patient care tech support
• Participate in department-specific orientation and ongoing skill assessments
• Adhere to dress code and shift requirements including weekends and holidays as needed

Requirements:

• BLS Certification
• Driver's license required at submittal to confirm 50-mile radius rule compliance
• Pass/Fail exam in orientation, achieving 90%
• Removal of artificial nails for patient care compliance
