Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - MedSurg to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record initial assessments while establishing priorities according to patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs.
• Re-assess patients systematically to identify progress and trends requiring intervention.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans within established nursing standards.
• Participate in patient health education and discharge planning.
• Document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs.
• Ensure effective communication and delegation of unit work assignments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing.
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license.
• BLS Certification required.
• Current knowledge and skills appropriate to the patient population served.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Knowledgeable and sensitive to patient rights in the delivery of care.
