Job Title

Travel RN – Medical/Surgical Ortho/Spine (Night Shift)

Chattanooga, Tennessee

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a 26-bed Ortho/Spine unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
Care for patients undergoing knee and hip replacement surgeries as well as multi-level spine surgeries
Operate and manage unit equipment including coolers, walkers, SCDs, and CPMs
Document patient care accurately using the Meditech documentation system
Fulfill scheduling requirements including 4 weekend shifts per schedule block and participate in unit rotation floating policy
Collaborate with unit secretaries, PCTs, and Navigators to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care

Required Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
Strong orthopedic nursing background
Demonstrated compassion and commitment to teamwork
Ability to meet patient experience benchmarks and unit quality standards
Willingness to wear required navy scrubs per unit dress code

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience with Meditech electronic documentation system
Familiarity with post-surgical orthopedic and spine patient populations
Experience working in a high-acuity medical/surgical inpatient setting
