Job Title

Travel RN – Medical/Surgical (Ortho/Spine)

Chattanooga, Tennessee

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a 26-bed Orthopedic/Spine unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
Care for patients undergoing knee and hip replacement surgeries as well as multi-level spine surgeries
Utilize unit equipment including coolers, walkers, SCDs, and CPMs in daily patient care
Document patient information accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
Collaborate with unit secretaries, PCTs, and Navigators to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care
Fulfill scheduling requirements including 4 weekend shifts per schedule block and participate in unit float rotation

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
Experience in Medical/Surgical nursing
Demonstrated compassion and strong teamwork skills
Ability to wear required uniform (navy scrubs)

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience in orthopedic or spine nursing
Familiarity with Meditech electronic health records system
Previous travel nursing experience
