Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care telemetry nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive, professional bedside manner
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced acute care and telemetry nursing environment
• Preferred: NIH Certification, trauma/ortho experience, or neuro/stroke experience

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to telemetry patients with a focus on safety, quality, and positive outcomes
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Perform neurovascular checks, frequent ambulation, and repositioning as needed
• Support orthopedic precautions and comprehensive pain management
• Collaborate closely with charge nurses, fellow RNs, and patient care techs to deliver efficient clinical care
• Care for a diverse patient population, including chest pain, stroke workups, CHF, Afib, RVR, trauma, and other complex conditions
