Contract Duration: 9 Weeks
Shift: 5x8-Hour Days (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Hours: 37.5–40 hours per week
Guaranteed Hours: Dependent on facility requirements

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Mammography Technician for a 9-week contract assignment in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience performing both screening and diagnostic mammography and be proficient in patient positioning, image quality, and documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
  • Demonstrate competency in mammography positioning, compression, and technique factors.
  • Ensure all radiographic images are accurately labeled according to department SOPs.
  • Evaluate images for technical quality and transmit images to PACS in a timely manner.
  • Complete all studies in IDX.
  • Accurately document and record required patient tracking information.
  • Work effectively and efficiently while maintaining quality patient care.

Requirements:

  • Active New York State License in Diagnostic Radiography.
  • Current ARRT certification.
  • Must maintain MQSA requirements.
  • Previous mammography experience required.
  • Biopsy and stereotactic (stereo) experience preferred.
