Travel Technologist – X-Ray / Mammography (Days)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Must be available to work weekends and evenings as scheduled
Key Responsibilities- Perform a wide variety of X-ray and mammography technical procedures requiring independent judgment and ingenuity
- Apply appropriate imaging skills to facilitate accurate diagnosis under the direction of the Lead Technologist or Operations Manager
- Provide proper patient care in accordance with departmental and facility policies and procedures
- Practice infection control and body substance isolation in compliance with departmental, facility, and OSHA standards
- Demonstrate proficient operation of PACS, HIS, RIS, CR, DR systems and perform basic troubleshooting as needed
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times and keep all required continuing education and department competencies current
Required Qualifications- Minimum 2 years of X-ray experience with at least 1 year of current, recent experience
- Minimum 2 years of current mammography experience
- ARRT (R) certification – required
- ARRT (M) certification – required
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification – required
- Active Massachusetts Radiology license or documented application for licensure – required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Meditech Expanse electronic health record system highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and assume supervisory or instructional responsibilities as assigned
