Job Title

Travel Technologist – X-Ray / Mammography (Days)

Pittsfield, MA

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Must be available to work weekends and evenings as scheduled

• Perform a wide variety of X-ray and mammography technical procedures requiring independent judgment and ingenuity
• Apply appropriate imaging skills to facilitate accurate diagnosis under the direction of the Lead Technologist or Operations Manager
• Provide proper patient care in accordance with departmental and facility policies and procedures
• Practice infection control and body substance isolation in compliance with departmental, facility, and OSHA standards
• Demonstrate proficient operation of PACS, HIS, RIS, CR, DR systems and perform basic troubleshooting as needed
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times and keep all required continuing education and department competencies current

• Minimum 2 years of X-ray experience with at least 1 year of current, recent experience
• Minimum 2 years of current mammography experience
• ARRT (R) certification – required
• ARRT (M) certification – required
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification – required
• Active Massachusetts Radiology license or documented application for licensure – required

• Experience with Meditech Expanse electronic health record system highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and assume supervisory or instructional responsibilities as assigned

• Work within a state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging department at a nationally recognized, award-winning teaching hospital
• Gain experience in a full-continuum medical center serving a diverse regional patient population
