Job Title: Mammography Technologist Profession: Mammography Technologist Specialty: Mammography Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours with a 1-hour lunch Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, Certified Mammography Technologist - ARRT (M) Must-Have: Breast imaging experience Description: The position requires expertise in mammography screening and diagnostic procedures. The department is equipped with 3 mammography rooms. The average number of scans performed daily is between 50-75 across the three rooms. The primary equipment utilized is the GE Pristina. A lead technologist will oversee each shift. Radiologists are present in-house. There is no requirement to start IVs. Weekend and holiday requirements are not in place at this time. There is no call or standby requirement. Scrub color is Caribbean Blue, and scrubs are provided. Candidates must possess BLS and ARRT (M) certifications.
