Job Opportunity – Mammography Technologist – Napa, CA 94558
Start Date: August 24, 2026
Location: Napa, California
Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (08:00 - 18:00), 13-week assignment. Daily census of approximately 35 patients with 2 procedure rooms.
Highlights:
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams in a community hospital setting
- Work with modern digital mammography and 3-D mammography technology
- Opportunity to gain experience with biopsy procedures and needle localization (preferred but not required)
- Epic charting system experience utilized
- Two pre-approved time-off periods available during assignment
- Serve adult and geriatric patient populations in an outpatient setting
Requirements:
- Valid California Radiologic Technologist license required at time of submission
- ARRT (R) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of mammography experience required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Skills in 3-D mammography, diagnostic and screening mammograms, digital mammography, and PACS required
- Experience with Hologic equipment preferred
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
- Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required
