Job Details

  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Active Illinois nursing license or confirmation that application process has been initiated; BLS certification (American Heart Association); minimum of 1 year of nursing experience; located within 50 miles of Peoria, IL.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in long-term care or similar settings is advantageous.
  • Duties: Administering medication, managing patient care plans, handling emergencies, and collaborating with team members to ensure quality resident care.
  • Shift & Scheduling: Work on 12-hour night shifts, with every other weekend and holiday rotation required.
  • Additional Information: Classroom orientation provided per facility policy, followed by two shifts on the unit with a preceptor. Scrubs only; OSF-approved T-shirts in any color are permitted. Tele monitors are in place, and RNs may be required to read their own strips. RT manages respiratory equipment.
