- Active CNA State License
- BLS required
- Minimum 1 year experience preferred on acute care, Telemetry
- Provide direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, oral hygiene, and feeding.
- Assist patients with mobility, ambulation, transfers, repositioning, and range-of-motion exercises using proper body mechanics and transfer equipment.
- Measure, record, and report vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, height, weight, and pain levels as directed.
- Observe, document, and promptly report changes in patients' physical, mental, or emotional condition to the supervising nurse.
- Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Aid with meal setup, feeding, monitoring nutritional intake, hydration, and documenting intake and output.
- Assist patients with elimination needs, including toileting, incontinence care, catheter care, and specimen collection as directed
The purpose of this position is to provide compassionate, high-quality, patient-centered care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) assists patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), monitors and reports changes in patient condition, maintains a safe and comfortable environment, and supports the interdisciplinary healthcare team in delivering exceptional patient care.
