Job Title: Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker Profession: Social Services Specialty: Clinical Social Work Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred License: Licensed as a Mental Health Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Independent Clinical Social Worker Certifications: BLS, LCSW Must-Have: - Experience in conducting crisis risk assessments for adults and pediatrics. - Hospital experience preferred. Description: This position is for a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. The role will float between units. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. The typical shift is from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. If overstaffed, the individual may be asked to float to perform similar duties. Responsibilities include conducting biopsychosocial assessments. The social worker will assist patients in navigating the Department of Children and Families processes. The role includes coordinating services to home care and equipment following discharge. Documentation of pertinent information to facilitate care coordination is essential. The social worker participates in care conference activities. Referrals to rehab and long-term care facilities are required. Individual counseling and parental counseling are part of the duties. Experience with emergency detention and involuntary holds is needed. The candidate will participate in the development of treatment plans. The work environment includes collaboration with interdisciplinary support. This position may involve floating between nearby facilities if required.
