Job Overview
We are seeking a Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week contract assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The LPN will provide direct patient care in a skilled nursing facility, supporting RNs and healthcare teams in delivering safe, high-quality resident care.
This role requires strong clinical skills, reliability, and the ability to work long shifts in a fast-paced long-term care environment while maintaining patient safety and documentation standards.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care under RN supervision
Administer medications and treatments as permitted by scope of practice
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to nursing staff
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Support wound care and basic nursing procedures as needed
Ensure patient safety and infection control compliance
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Requirements
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required by facility standards
Previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends as scheduled
Ability to work effectively under RN supervision
