Compensation
- Weekly Pay: $1,800 – $2,150

Position Overview
A healthcare facility in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with oncology experience for a travel assignment. The LCSW will provide psychosocial support, counseling, crisis intervention, and care coordination for oncology patients and their families within a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for oncology patients and families
- Provide counseling, emotional support, crisis intervention, and coping strategies
- Assist patients with adjustment to diagnosis, treatment, and end-of-life concerns
- Coordinate discharge planning and referrals to community resources
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with facility policies
- Advocate for patient rights and access to supportive services
- Support patients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and treatment-related stress
Qualifications
- Active Georgia Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license required
- Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Minimum 2 years of recent LCSW experience within the specialty required
- Minimum 1 year of oncology experience required
- Prior hospital-based social work experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication, crisis intervention, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills required
