Job Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Profession: Social Services Specialty: Clinical Social Work Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 2 years of post-medical social work experience required License: Must be licensed in California Certifications: LCSW Must-Have: - Traveling experience is required - Willingness to work weekends and evenings - EPIC charting system experience - Experience in academic medical hospitals within the last 1-5 years - Specialties should include Medicine Team, Surgery, Transplant, NICU, and Emergency Department Description: Shifts are 5 days a week from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with variable days including one weekend day each week. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of LCSW experience in California. Traveling is a requirement for this position. Candidates ideally should have experience in an academic medical hospital in the last 1 to 5 years. Qualified candidates will have specialties in Medicine Team, Surgery, Transplant, NICU, and Emergency Department. Responsibilities include conducting biopsychosocial assessments, creating plans of care, documenting care delivery, and facilitating discharge planning. Strong collaboration with internal and external team members is essential for ensuring continuity of care. Candidates will work with a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The position requires experience in various challenges and diagnoses, including but not limited to cancer, dementia, and psychiatric disorders. The role will demand crisis intervention and educational support for patients and their caregivers. Candidates must document all patient interactions and communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
