We are comprised of a freestanding facility with short-term psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and adults. We also provide partial hospitalization programs for adults. Our extensive range of treatment programs are designed to foster empowerment, connection, and a meaningful life. The location offers versatile opportunities within a vibrant area. There is proximity to dynamic art, food, and sports entertainment venues. This area provides many local opportunities for exploration, including historic downtown, waterfront, and easy access to world-class opportunities. Renders clinical psychosocial services to patients and their families of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics. Assesses patients' psychosocial needs and makes referrals to appropriate facilities or community agencies. Provides crisis intervention and bereavement counseling. Utilizes effective problem-solving strategies to reach decisions and follow through within the assigned scope of responsibility. Provides consultation and counseling with patients, families, staff, and others in the service of patients. Participates in departmental and interdisciplinary meetings and activities. Obtains or coordinates resources from community, social, health, and welfare agencies. Provides training for nursing staff to intervene during on-call hours and weekends.
