- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:30pm
- Location: North Carolina (NC license required)
- Education Required: Bachelor s degree in a relevant therapy field (e.g., activity, recreational, music, art, dance, occupational, expressive arts therapy)
- Certification/Licensure Required:
- Appropriate area licensure/certification/registration (e.g., LRT, LRT-A, CTRS, ATR, MT, R-DMT, or similar)
- LCSW, LCMHC, or LMFT may be considered if alternative therapies therapist cannot be sourced
- Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete Activity Therapy Assessments for patients
- Develop and document treatment plans for new patients
- Facilitate four psychotherapeutic group activities daily for adult, child, adolescent, and geriatric units
- Serve as the primary group facilitator, with RN s and Techs assisting to meet staff-to-patient ratio requirements
- Document group sessions and patient progress in the medical record
