Position SummaryThe Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) provides clinical assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and case management services to individuals, families, and groups. Working within the scope of Georgia state licensure, the LCSW delivers high-quality behavioral health care, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, and supports patients in achieving improved mental, emotional, and social well‑being.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Services- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions (CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, etc.)
- Deliver individual, family, or group counseling sessions
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards of practice
Care Coordination & Case Management- Coordinate referrals to community resources, specialty providers, and support services
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, nurses, and other multidisciplinary team members
- Support continuity of care through follow‑up and treatment monitoring
Documentation & Compliance- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in EMR systems
- Complete assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries
- Adhere to all state laws, facility policies, HIPAA, and professional regulatory standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff meetings
Qualifications- Active Georgia LCSW license (in good standing)
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience preferred (customizable)
- Strong working knowledge of mental health diagnoses, therapeutic interventions, and crisis management
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and cultural competence
- Ability to work independently and within a team-based model
