We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide behavioral health and counseling services to patients within a clinical setting. The LCSW will support patients through individualized therapeutic interventions while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to promote positive mental health outcomes.
Position Details- Patients are located within the same region
- Providers are generally not expected to work at more than one site per day
- Majority of sessions are scheduled as 53+ minute therapy sessions
- Typical caseload structure is approximately one patient per hour
- Patients are typically seen once per week
- Floating required between Toms River, Spring Lake and Freehold
Responsibilities- Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual therapy and counseling services to patients
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
- Collaborate with physicians, behavioral health providers, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Provide crisis intervention and emotional support when needed
- Educate patients and families on treatment goals, coping strategies, and available resources
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional ethical standards
Requirements- Required: Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
- Required: Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in state of practice
- Preferred: Previous behavioral health, counseling, or clinical social work experience
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare environment
