Certifications: Valid state license required Must-Have: - Completion of continuing professional education for license renewal. Description: The Behavioral Healthcare Provider develops, coordinates, implements, and provides interdisciplinary services related to behavioral and biomedical science. This role involves the application of knowledge and techniques relevant to health and illness. The provider will independently deliver behavioral healthcare services within their scope of practice. They may serve as lead workers or liaisons to support agencies. Duties include acting as a lead worker over lower-level behavioral healthcare providers. Treatment plans for clients will be independently developed and implemented. The provider coordinates admission, assessment, evaluation, and treatment plans. They provide interventions for acute and complex clients and handle cases with numerous factors. Crisis intervention is a key responsibility. The provider participates in establishing and directing behavioral healthcare programs and treatment objectives. They develop and design treatment intervention techniques and adjust treatment systems based on client progress. The provider evaluates the performance of lower-level behavioral healthcare providers in administering treatment plans. They maintain necessary data documents to satisfy regulatory requirements. As an active team member, the provider participates in training sessions, meetings, and policy reviews. Establishing and maintaining relationships with other facilities and agencies is essential for coordinating referrals and follow-up services. UNUSUAL WORKING CONDITIONS: This role may require unusual work schedules or arrangements. The provider may be exposed to clients who could potentially be violent. Exposure to unusual noise, odors, or contagious diseases may occur. Travel to community sites may be required.
