Travel Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - $1,320 to $1,520 per week in McKinney, TX

Make a meaningful impact as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in McKinney, TX. Provide assessment, crisis intervention, discharge planning, group therapy, and case management for adults and geriatrics in an inpatient behavioral health setting. Advocate for patients to connect them with resources, support treatment team activities, and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to optimize patient outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work (MSW) from an accredited educational program.
• Current license to practice in Texas as an LCSW, LMSW, LPC-A, or LPC. Candidates must be licensed in the State of Texas.
• Behavioral health experience required, including inpatient psychiatry or crisis stabilization experience.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong experience working with senior adult (geriatric) populations.
• Experience with group therapy, case management, discharge planning, and behavioral health assessments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Meditech or similar EMR systems.
• Training or experience in CBT and DBT group therapy.
• Prior experience in an acute care or inpatient psychiatric unit.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 0800-1700.
• Float requirement: May float to adult/geriatric units.
• Team environment includes social workers, case managers, activity therapist, MHPs, nursing staff, psychiatry, and hospitalists.
• Unit typical census: 40–48 on an 80-bed adult and geriatric inpatient behavioral health unit.
