**Exciting Opportunity for Labor & Delivery RN!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** RN - OB/GYN ED - **Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM - **Unit Name:** Labor & Delivery - **Location:** Nashville, Tennessee - **Cost Center:** 707/63100 **Unit Specifics:** - **Number of Beds:** 12 - **Patient Ratios:** 1:2 - **Staffing Description:** RNs, unit secretary, OR techs available - **Documentation System:** CPN, Meditach - **Scheduling Requirements:** - 3 weekend shifts - 1 call shift for RNs - 2 call shifts for techs - 3 twelve-hour shifts - **Floating Policy:** Travelers float first - **Patient Experience Requirements:** Shared decision making **Hospital Specifics:** - **Certifications Required for RNs:** - NRP - ACLS - BLS - AWHONN Intermediate or CEFM (not advanced) - **Advanced Skills Needed:** - Care of the laboring patient - Care of the newborn immediately after delivery - Circulate and recover c/s patients **Procedures Performed on Unit:** - Vaginal deliveries - C-sections - D&C - Cerclage - Epidural anesthesia - Tub labor **Dress Code:** - Required uniform: Scrubs (Ceil Blue, Navy Blue, or Gray) - Note: Scrubs are not provided by the hospital **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
