Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse position in Wichita, Kansas. This role involves providing specialized care in a high-acuity obstetrics setting, supporting women through labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. The successful candidate will work in a well-equipped unit that emphasizes patient-centered and family-focused birthing experiences.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support), AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and must be included in the submission packet.
  • Preferred Qualifications: At least 2-3 years of obstetrics experience; strong management of inductions, labor, delivery, and Cesarean sections; experience with mother-baby care including active management of labor and postpartum recovery.
  • Additional Information: The unit features up-to-date obstetric equipment, including Labor, Delivery, Recovery (LDRP) suites with family-friendly amenities, fetal monitoring systems, and well newborn care equipment. The team includes experienced staff, and the facility offers a home-like birthing environment with dedicated lactation support.
